BOXING LEEDS UNIVERSITY

Boxing Leeds University for all levels enables students to take part at Tigersgym. Also, at Leeds University “The Edge” in a further Boxing training session.

Furthermore, these mixed student classes are designed for all beginners and anyone with past experience. Above all, Tigersgym training sessions are fantastic for overall body conditioning. Furthermore, the training classes will immensely improve your cardiovascular fitness when taking part in the Tigers gym boxing workouts.

Above all, the training is done in a very relaxed, positive and friendly way. In addition, any form of contact or sparring training is totally optional!

Students can also take part in the yearly Amateur Boxing Varsity competition, held against other Universities.

Well done to the University of Leeds Boxing club in beating Leeds Becketts University for the 1st time in the November 2013 Varsity show.

Competing on the night from the University Boxing team were: Charlie Green, Matt Nairne, Ben Akram, Chad Barnes & Connor Campbell.

However, you don’t need to book any of the classes as a Leeds University student, therefore just turn up and get started on your new fitness regime. 
In addition, all medical students are also welcome to any of the boxing sessions. 
Furthermore, comfortable training gear is all you need to start enjoying another part of your University life. Remember sound mind – sound body!

Term dates for 2022/2023 Leeds University Boxing training are:

1st term starts on Tuesday 27th September 2022 until Saturday 10th December 2022 and the Edge training Tba for October start until 7th December 2022.

2nd term starts on Tuesday 17th January 2023 until Thursday 30th March 2023 and the Edge training starts back week beginning 30th January 2023 until 27th March 2023.

3rd term starts Tuesday 2nd May 2023 until Saturday 20th May 2023 – No Edge training this term.
